Homemaking Workshops

Munirah loves to combine her interests for the garden, family life and nature by offering workshops in the making of jams, pickles, preserves, beeswax wraps, household cleaners, herbal tea blends…even beginners’ pottery.

These intimate, bespoke workshops follow the seasons and what’s on offer or ready to harvest from her garden. She acknowledges a deep respect for and connection to Papatūānuku, healing that is available to all, whether they have grown up aware of the beauty and medicine of the land or are only now beginning to learn.

All equipment and implements used are items / tools you would find in a basic kitchen or source easily.  No bells or whistles – imagine being in an Auntie’s house watching and learning with her.

Includes a simple morning or afternoon tea in the garden. Perfect for a themed gathering of friends or just to unwind and learn a new skill on your own with Munirah. Self-care at its most practical!

Book for individuals or small groups. Capped at 3 to 4 people.

Munirah taught me how to make plant-infused oils and balms. It was such a lovely morning spent in her pretty garden and kitchen. She took me through the whole process from picking and drying the right plants for my needs, to making the infusions. I went home with the healing balms we had made which are doing exactly what she said they would. Wonderful!
